Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayMillville delivered a wild afternoon of racing, with first-turn chaos, mechanical failures, hard crashes and major championship swings in both classes. In the 250 class, Julien Beaumer came away with the overall victory after combining a moto-one win with fourth in moto two. The opening moto began with a massive pileup that collected several contenders, including Levi Kitchen and Cole Davies, while Casey Cochran went over the bars entering turn one. Michael Mosiman moved to the front and appeared to have the race under control, but Beaumer continued charging and was ultimately credited with the win ahead of Mosiman and Kayden Minear. Davies’ bike failed and left him with a 38th-place result, while Kitchen recovered to eighth and took control of the championship. Moto two brought even more drama when Mosiman crashed hard while challenging Minear for the lead and was unable to finish. Chance Hymas took advantage and rode to the moto win ahead of Kitchen and Carson Mumford, while Beaumer survived a late fall to finish fourth and secure the overall. Hymas’ 9-1 scores earned him second overall, with Kitchen’s 8-2 results placing him third.
In the 450 class, Hunter Lawrence was untouchable and swept both motos for the overall victory. Hunter and Jett Lawrence quickly separated themselves from the field in moto one after Haiden Deegan crashed while fighting for the holeshot. Hunter controlled the race and won by thirteen seconds over Jett, while R.J. Hampshire finished third and Deegan recovered to fourth. The Lawrence brothers again led the way in moto two, but Jett moved past Hunter and began pulling away before crashing with five minutes remaining and becoming trapped beneath his bike. Jett remounted in fifth, handing the lead and the overall back to Hunter. Deegan moved into second, while Jorge Prado held off a late charge from Hampshire to finish third. Hunter’s 1-1 sweep gave him the overall ahead of Deegan’s 4-2 scores and Jett’s 2-5 finishes. Hampshire went 3-4 for fourth overall, while Justin Barcia completed the top five with 5-8 results. Eli Tomac finished 11th overall with 9-12 scores in his return to racing.
