Andre Drummond quickly caught fans’ attention after reacting to LeBron James’ decision to join the Philadelphia 76ers, but the veteran center soon made it clear there was no deeper meaning behind his post.

Shortly after James announced he was signing with the Sixers, Drummond – who spent the previous two seasons in Philadelphia before joining the New York Knicks this offseason – posted a brief message on X.

“Oh” 🤦😟

The post sparked speculation among fans, with some wondering whether Drummond regretted leaving Philadelphia or was unhappy to see James strengthen one of the Knicks’ biggest rivals.

Drummond later addressed the reaction directly.

“I’m good where I’m at,” he wrote along with a praying-hands emoji.

The veteran center is expected to provide valuable frontcourt depth for the defending champion Knicks following Mitchell Robinson’s departure.

Last season, Drummond averaged 6.4 points and 8.4 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per game.

James’ arrival gives Philadelphia a star-studded lineup featuring Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and V.J. Edgecombe, making the 76ers one of the Eastern Conference favorites.
