Andrew Wiggins of the Miami Heat is looking forward to sharing the court with Klay Thompson again, praising his former teammate’s competitiveness and championship experience.

The two previously played together with the Golden State Warriors, and Wiggins believes Thompson can make a major impact following their reunion.

“He’s one of the most competitive people I played with. To have him on the squad is going to be amazing.”

Wiggins also emphasized the mentality Thompson brings after experiencing championship success during his career.

“He’s one of one. He brings that championship mentality to the team and this is a year that we can do something special and he’s someone that can be a big part of it.”
