Founded in 2012, Bearpath’s line of outdoor adventure sandals is inspired by trail-running shoes and is suited for everyday outdoor life. Based in Indonesia, their products haven’t come across our desk before, but they recently shared details on their latest offering, a clipless adventure sandal.

As Bearpath puts it, the Kanawaru Clipless sandals “bring the liberating feel of your favorite minimalist sandals to the pedals.” They feature an open-toe design with a Bedrock Sandals-style three-point “Y-Strap” system and adjustable heel and side straps. On the base, there’s a two-bolt mounting plate for your favorite SPD cleat/pedal system, but Bearpath doesn’t provide much information on how the sandal is reinforced or stiffened.

The Kanawaru Clipless is available in five colors, including a funky multicolor “Spectrum” option, and 12 sizes, from 36-47. They cost 479,000Rp, which works out to roughly $265 USD, but it appears they only ship to India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The sandals are designed and manufactured in Bandung, Indonesia.
