The grudge match between Darren Till and Mike Perry could finally come to fruition, but BKFC has some other potential fights for “The Gorilla.”

Till made his BKFC debut this past Saturday in Birmingham. The former UFC title challenger took on Aaron Chalmers and things looked a bit dicey early on. Till was dropped in the first round, but he was the one who delivered the final blow in the second stanza. A left hand found the jaw of Chalmers, and Till earned himself a one-punch knockout win.

Once BKFC 90 wrapped up, the promotion’s president David Feldman discussed the possibility of booking Till to face Perry. Feldman likes that idea, but he also seems to be excited about other potential avenues (h/t MMAFighting).

“We’re definitely going to attempt that fight [between Mike Perry and Darren Till],” Feldman said. “But we have three really big names that could be potential opponents for Darren that will make all three of them the biggest fight we’ve ever done.

“So do we want Mike Perry back against Darren Till? Absolutely.”

Perry and BKFC have had a tumultuous relationship at times. UFC megastar Conor McGregor, who owns part of BKFC, has threatened to fire “Platinum” in the past. Perry has felt at times that he hasn’t been appreciated by the promotion, but Feldman is ready to speak with him soon.

“I don’t know what his plans are right now,” Feldman said. “We will talk to him this week. Mike has done very, very good for us and then he was able to do good for himself and I’m happy about that. But this is a fight that everybody called for.

“So now Darren Till is here, Mike Perry’s here, let’s see if we can get that done.”

Perry last competed outside the BKFC promotion. He collided with Nate Diaz on the MVP MMA 1 card on May 16. Perry scored the second-round TKO win via corner stoppage.
