Bob Myers will return to his role as the president of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment after he names a new president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.

Myers is temporarily in charge of the team's basketball operations as he searches for Daryl Morey's successor.

Myers will interview both internal and external candidates for the position.

It is too early in the process to name a favorite for the role.

Fischer adds that current executive director of the NBA Players Association Andre Iguodala will not be a candidate for the Sixers' job.
