Top-50 recruit Carson Crawford announced his commitment to Arizona State on Wednesday.

Crawford, who is ranked No. 46 in the SC Next 100, is Randy Bennett's highest-ranked recruit since at least 2007.

Bennett was hired by Arizona State this offseason.

"I knew of Coach Bennett because of his success at Saint Mary's," Crawford told ESPN. "He is excellent at player development. All of his staff at ASU have either played for him or coached with him at Saint Mary's. I really like that."

Crawford is the school's first recruit for 2027.
