Change is coming, and plenty of it.
Chairman Andrew Cavenagh has already spoken of a "summer of substantial change", while Rohl himself has openly admitted Rangers need fresh quality and stronger leadership within the squad.
The Gers have already moved to strengthen their attacking options with the arrival of Lawrence Shankland, but reports suggest the Scotland international may not be the last forward through the door this summer.
Several names have been linked with Ibrox in recent weeks.
Leeds United striker Joe Gelhardt remains a player Rangers are monitoring, with uncertainty surrounding his future at Elland Road despite a productive spell away from the club.
Elsewhere, reports also suggest Rangers retain an interest in Tottenham youngster Mikey Moore following his successful spell under Rohl, while the club have also been credited with interest in a number of younger talents as part of a wider recruitment strategy.

Rangers are one of the teams in the race to sign a star who is even better than reported target Luke Graham.
The overall objective appears straightforward.
Rangers want a squad capable of challenging Celtic immediately while also building a stronger foundation for the future. That balancing act is expected to define much of their business over the coming months.
Another intriguing and familiar name has also re-emerged.
Rohl personally wants Rangers to sign Leeds striker Joel Piroe
According to TEAMtalk transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey, Rohl personally believes Leeds striker Joel Piroe would be an excellent addition to his Rangers squad.
The Dutch forward has built a reputation as one of the most reliable goalscorers outside the Premier League over recent years.
Whether at Swansea City or Leeds, Piroe has consistently delivered Championship goals and has repeatedly shown an ability to find space inside the penalty area — bagging 73 goals in 179 second tier appearances.
That profile is understandably attractive to Rangers.
While Shankland has already arrived, Rohl is thought to be keen on adding further competition in attacking areas, and TEAMtalk hint the Gers boss has set his personal sights on Piroe.
Last season exposed Rangers' lack of consistency in front of goal at key moments, and bringing in another proven finisher would help address that issue.
Piroe's experience could also prove valuable.
At 26, the 'top drawer' striker would arrive at Ibrox in what many would consider the peak years of his career. Unlike some of the younger players Rangers have been linked with, he would be expected to make an immediate impact rather than develop over time.
There are obvious hurdles to overcome, like how Piroe is also a target for Birmingham City, Stoke City and Middlesbrough, while it is also believed that the Teddy Bears aren't actively pursuing him at the moment.
Leeds also remain in control of the player's future and Rangers would need to find a package that works financially.
However, the existing links between the two clubs through the 49ers ownership model could potentially help discussions if interest develops further.
For now, no deal is imminent.
But with Rohl reportedly viewing Piroe as an ideal fit for his system, this is a transfer story Rangers supporters may want to keep a close eye on as the summer window gathers pace.
