The ‘Drake curse’ might be back in play as Conor McGregor and Max Holloway clash in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 329.

For the first time in five years, Conor McGregor will make his highly-anticipated walk to the Octagon at UFC 329 on Saturday in Las Vegas. McGregor and former BMF titleholder Max Holloway headline a stacked card to cap off the UFC’s annual International Fight Week event.

McGregor vs. Holloway 2 is expected to be a highly wagered event in sportsbooks around the world. As of this writing, Holloway enters UFC 329 as a modest betting favorite over the returning McGregor.

One such bettor will be Grammy-award-winning artist Drake, who is known for betting on high-profile games and fights. Unfortunately, Drake has lost millions on his wagers in recent years, including his bet on Francis Ngannou to beat Anthony Joshua in their boxing fight.

In a recent Instagram post, Drake shared his pick for UFC 329 with $1 million on the line.

“THE MAC IS BACK?!?!” Drake posted featuring a $1 million wager on McGregor.

“The proper twelve drinking, tailored suit wearing, Lambo Yacht riding man with the Dubai tan that once had both belts in both hands…Say less.”

If Drake is correct, McGregor will pick up his first win since knocking out Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. He’s lost back-to-back fights to Dustin Poirier since the Cerrone bout, and hasn’t fought since injuring his leg against Poirier at UFC 264.

Holloway is looking to get back in the win column after losing the BMF belt to Charles Oliveira earlier this year. He’s also looking for revenge after losing to McGregor earlier in their UFC careers.

If the ‘Drake curse’ is real, McGregor might be in trouble for his hyped return to the Octagon this weekend.
