As reported by Sky Sports' Keith Downie, Everton are now "keen" to sign Murphy alongside Grealish this summer. The Toffees are looking to land a double deal for two experienced midfielders, adding key depth and quality to their squad in the process.
Murphy has just 12 months left on his current deal and could yet be available at a cut-price as a result. Failing that, of course, the winger will be available as a free agent this time next year.
Everton are yet to launch an official offer, but there's no doubt that Murphy is now one to watch.

A player with plenty of Premier League experience who is known for his hard work rather than flair? It doesn't get much more David Moyes than that. Murphy and the Everton boss would be a match made in heaven.
If the Toffees want to finally get the best out of their forwards, then the 31-year-old will have plenty to offer. It wasn't so long ago that he was putting goals on a plate for Alexander Isak, before the Swede joined Liverpool and struggled.
