WASHINGTON — Francisco Lindor understands this season can’t become his new norm. 

The Mets shortstop has dealt with at least three significant physical issues over the past calendar year, and maybe they contributed heavily to his worst season statistically. But there is also the possibility he just wasn’t good. 

Asked Friday about his confidence level in reverting to the old Francisco Lindor next season, the former All-Star was forthcoming. 

“I have no other option,” he told The Post. “I have to go back to being a plus player at shortstop. Not only defensively, but running and hitting.”
