A title win for Celtic in a season full of heartache, agony and anxiety. It was a strange old campaign, wasn't it?
From Brendan Rodgers' departure to the wild rollercoaster of Wilfried Nancy's stay, Martin O'Neill stabilised things not once but twice. Once the campaign concludes this weekend, they could see it out by winning a domestic double.
Yeah, we said it was a weird year, didn't we?
Alas, despite O'Neill's success, he will not be here next season. It's a big ol' summer for the Hoops, who not only need to tear the playing squad to shreds, but they also require a new manager.
What the summer has in store for Celtic
While finding a manager must be the primary objective for the Bhoys this summer, it's clear that even after a season in which they won the league, improvements to the playing squad are required.
Unsurprisingly, they are looking towards the SPFL to bolster the squad with a number of the division's top talents touted to make a move to Parkhead. From Tawanda Maswanhise to Elijah Just and Killie's David Watson, other Premiership clubs need to watch out.
Celtic's raid of British shores is not set to stop there, with the recruitment team also taking a look at the best young players in the English Football League.
Indeed, according to a report from Sports Boom, Huddersfield Town's Cameron Ashia is one highly exciting player on their shortlist.
Previously rated at just £500k, it's noted that Celtic are set to 'step up their pursuit' of the player by 'tabling a move' in the forthcoming weeks. It's understood that the club's hierarchy are firmly behind a move and view him as precisely the type of young talent they should be building the squad around.
You could say this is something of a Matt O'Riley-type deal.
Why Ashia would be an upgrade on Tounekti
Plenty of issues hit Celtic this season but the inconsistency of their wide players was perhaps one of the biggest problems.

While the likes of Benjamin Nygren and Daizen Maeda were a regular source of goals, behind them, it was rather slim pickings. The less said about the Balikwisha and Mvuka signings the better, while you can cut Forrest a bit of slack for his long service to the club.
Tounekti, however, has been one of the largest sources of frustration in recent weeks. The 23-year-old has not found the net for 14 straight games now, last scoring a goal in the 3-2 win over Kilmarnock back in February.
He has been notably poor of late and was subbed at half-time in the title-winning game with Hearts last Saturday, evidence that he isn't really in O'Neill's good books right now.
So, by signing Ashia from Huddersfield, they could land a far more exciting player, somebody who has the potential to be more Yang and Maeda than Mvuka.
Looking at the raw stats, it might not feel like the most enthralling addition. For the Terriers, the 21-year-old only started four games in League One but he caught the eye nonetheless, scoring three times and registering three assists. Across all competitions, the Englishman ended the domestic campaign with six goals.
What sets Ashia apart from someone like Tounekti is the fact that he is a maverick. He's a hugely captivating player to watch in full flow. He's someone who is capable of coming up with magic moments, scoring a series of exceptional goals for Huddersfield throughout 2025/26.
A truly dynamic threat who can play as an attacking midfielder or on the flanks, one of the youngster's finest attributes is his dribbling ability. It's for that reason he's been compared to Manchester City's dazzling talent, Jeremy Doku.
Ashia may not have started many games last term but he's widely regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the Football League right now. When it comes to football, sometimes you just have to take the data with a pinch of salt and use the eye test.
In that regard, you only need to look at how he's taken some of his goals to understand how he could light up Scottish football.
Better than Iheanacho: Celtic could see £6m bid accepted to sign new striker
Celtic are reportedly interested in signing a centre-forward who would be a big upgrade on Kelechi Iheanacho.
