The forward has not played a competitive club match since November 2024 for Chelsea, due to the doping ban, and he had not been in the best of form in the Premier League leading up to his absence from the game.

His form prior to the ban does not suggest that he is likely to hit the ground running in the Premier League at Spurs, without even accounting for how long he has been out for.

Leeds exploring deal to sign Mudryk upgrade
Now, the club are said to be looking at a player who would be an even better option than Mudryk at Elland Road for the German head coach this term.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Leeds United are exploring a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Jean-Matteo Bahoya before the end of the summer transfer window.
The reporter claims that the Whites have opened talks with the German outfit over a last-gasp move to bring the French star to Elland Road in the coming hours.
Meanwhile, Ben Jacobs adds that newly-promoted Hull City had been in to sign the 21-year-old playmaker before the player decided to turn down a move to the Tigers, opening the door for Leeds to join the race for his signature.
The attacker, who was described as "explosive" by U23 scout Antonio Mango, would be a better addition to the squad than Mudryk because he would not arrive with the same concerns over his fitness.
Bahoya played 37 times in all competitions for Frankfurt in the 2025/26 campaign and racked up 28 games in all competitions for the German side in the previous season, showing that he has been consistently available for his club.
