I agree - that was a “PG” reaction.
He is seconds off the track where he was risking his life to achieve his livelihood, passion and life long dream. Something out of his control robs him of the result he’d achieved - and he bashes his helmet down a tiny bit aggressively. Wow!
I’ve seen people react many times worse than that when an overworked, underpaid Barista gets their coffee order wrong! (Usually not with a film crew in their face.)

The fact he went out in the second race and rode just as well proves the level he’s operating on.

Jet was even a bit more animated. And it wasn’t the best look - but the fact that he was annoyed at himself took the sting out of it for me. “I didn’t deserve that win”. “I doubled down on my bad riding” Guys at that level have trouble forgiving their own bad performances. Even if they win!!
