HeatGrip™ replaces traditional leather inner-knee panels with a next-generation material engineered to provide superior grip, exceptional durability and consistent performance in all conditions. Leatt developed HeatGrip™ by combining its abrasion- and cut-resistant Deflextion fabric with a durable, heatproof coating. The result is a material that resists the drying, cracking and deterioration commonly associated with leather while remaining fully machine washable and requiring no special maintenance. HeatGrip™ also provides more grip than leather in both wet and dry conditions, giving riders increased confidence and control through ruts, berms and braking zones. With 100-percent aramid reinforcement, the material offers excellent resistance to wear from knee braces while also being lighter, longer-lasting and more sustainable through the use of Bluesign® materials.
