Jack Grant made history at Oktagon 89 on Saturday, earning the first-ever Scottish twister submission in promotional history against Ronald Paradeiser.
Grant came out swinging and immediately connected with a looping right hand that caught Paradeiser behind the ear and sent him crashing to the canvas.
Already smelling blood in the water, Grant jumped on his opponent and looked to lock in a ground and pound victory. Paradeiser survived the ensuing onslaught, but it wasn’t long before Grant would secure top control and lock in Okgaton MMA’s first-ever Scottish twister, forcing Paradeiser to tap out just past the three-minute mark of the opening round.
Official Result: Jack Grant def. Ronald Paradeiser via submission (Scottish twister) at 3:16 of Round 1.
