Jeff Teague shared his opinion on comparisons between Victor Wembanyama and peak Kevin Durant, saying he does not believe the Spurs star will ever reach Durant’s prime level offensively.
Teague acknowledged that Wembanyama’s unique combination of size and skill has created excitement around the league because basketball has rarely seen a player like him before.
“I’m going to keep it real, man,” the former NBA guard said. “We love Wemby because we ain’t never seen nothing like it.”
However, Teague made it clear he still views Durant’s peak as being on a different level.
“But he’s not fu*king with KD, bro,” Teague added.
