McGreevy didn’t factor into the decision in his last start on Friday against the Diamondbacks, but he delivered his fourth straight quality start by allowing just one earned run over 6 ⅓ innings. The right-hander has become a reliable arm for St. Louis, now having recorded seven quality starts in his last eight outings.

In Pfaadt’s last start, he improved to 4-0 since returning to Arizona’s rotation, allowing two runs over 5 ⅓ innings to earn the win against the Cardinals. The right-hander has surrendered just five earned runs across his last four starts.
