Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray underwent left ankle surgery on Tuesday. The procedure was to remove loose bodies in Murray's ankle. The Kings said Murray will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks.
Last season was a lost one for Murray. The fourth-year forward appeared in only 23 games due to a ligament tear in his left thumb, then repeated sprains of his left ankle. Murray's final game was on February 25, as he was shut down for the season shortly thereafter due to the ankle issues.
This coming season, Murray will start the first year of the five-year, $140 million extension he signed with Sacramento this past offseason. The Kings still see Murray as one of their building blocks moving forward, despite the injury-plagued last season.
