Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDavis dismissed claims that he is avoiding negotiations, saying Bill Haney has no role in the deal and that he already knows what to expect when the WBO purse bid begins Monday.
Keyshawn Davis dismissed Bill Haney’s accusations that he was avoiding negotiations for a proposed WBO welterweight title fight, insisting the discussions are taking place between the promoters ahead of Monday’s purse bid. Davis also claimed he already knows how the bidding process will unfold, though he declined to explain what he expects to happen.
Bill Haney spent much of Sunday posting accusations that Keyshawn had disappeared despite millions of dollars being at stake. In another post, he urged Keyshawn to stop ducking meetings with his manager and promoter so the fight could be finalized. Davis answered those remarks during an Instagram Live session, arguing Bill was spreading false accusations.
“Y’all really thought I was hiding? I’mma break all this down. I thought these dudes was the champions. It look like these dudes chasing after me. I’m sitting back looking at everything, and I’m like, ‘Yo, it look like these dudes is chasing me,'” Davis said during an Instagram Live session. “This dude DM’d me today. I told him, ‘Get the [expletive] on.’ He liked my message and got the [expletive] on. Why the [expletive] would I get you on the phone and try to negotiate anything with you, Bill? You not putting up no money. Didn’t you just sign with a promoter? We not talking to you, Bill. I know what’s going to happen tomorrow on this purse bid. I already had conversations with his bosses. I know the numbers. Why am I going back and forth on Twitter when I’m having conversations with the people that’s putting the fight on?”
Keyshawn maintained that Bill Haney has been trying to convince fans he was avoiding the fight, calling the accusations false. He also questioned why Bill would contact him directly instead of leaving negotiations to the promoters.
Near the end of the livestream, Davis delivered another message to Haney’s father, telling him to “stand on your word” after Monday’s purse bid while insisting the outcome will support everything he has been saying. He stopped short of explaining what he believes will happen, leaving that for the bidding process to determine.
