Mohamed Diawara is expected to be one of the most closely watched players on the New York Knicks’ Summer League roster, according to Zach Braziller of The New York Post.

The 2025 second-round pick recently agreed to a new four-year contract worth more than $10 million to remain with the Knicks, making his development a major point of interest heading into the summer.

Another player drawing attention is French wing Pacome Dadiet, who could emerge as a trade candidate because of New York’s financial situation.

Braziller notes that a strong Summer League performance could significantly increase Dadiet’s value and improve his standing around the NBA.

In a subscriber-only report for The New York Post, Stefan Bondy also examined which current Knicks players could receive contract extensions either this offseason or during the 2026-27 campaign.

He believes Karl-Anthony Towns and especially Josh Hart are good candidates to eventually sign new deals with the franchise.

Bondy is less optimistic about Miles McBride’s chances of agreeing to an extension, suggesting the guard could earn a larger contract in 2027 free agency than the Knicks may be willing or able to offer because of long-term salary cap considerations.
