Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySeventeen appearances in ONE Friday Fights history. Three straight wins. Still no contract. Kongchai Chanaidonmueang arrives at The Inner Circle on June 5 knowing exactly what the gap in his resume has been — and what closing it requires.
Kongchai faces Moldovan striker Valerii Strungari in the strawweight Muay Thai main event of The Inner Circle, streaming live for members at live.onefc.com from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 5.
The 23-year-old former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion carries a 79-plus career record and more series appearances than any other athlete in ONE Friday Fights history. He has wins over Walter Goncalves, Thway Lin Htet, and Mehrdad Khanzadeh in his current three-fight run.
Strungari is no easy assignment. The Moldovan stopped Sanit Aekmuangnon at ONE Friday Fights 133 with a third-round knockout after being outclassed for two rounds, and arrives off a decision loss to Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai with extra motivation to prove that result was a blip and not a pattern.
In the co-main event, contracted Sor Dechapan standout Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi faces Chinese southpaw Yuan Pengjie in flyweight kickboxing. Jaosuayai has earned three bonuses on the weekly series. He brings a first-round head kick knockout of Nakrob Fairtex and a full-distance fight with Sam-A Gaiyanghadao into one of the more technically interesting co-main matchups of the June card.
The Inner Circle June 5 full card spans three disciplines
The bantamweight MMA contest between Julian Mayorga and Taiga Orii headlines the undercard with a rare distinction. Both fighters have finished every single one of their professional bouts without exception. Mayorga is Colombian, Orii is Japanese, and neither has seen a final bell. The atomweight Muay Thai bout between Banluelok Sitwatcharachai and Rak Erawan features two Thai fighters with strong finishing records and a combined willingness to end fights early.
Belgium’s Rahim Tcherchaiko makes his ONE Championship debut against China’s Zhang Jinhu in flyweight kickboxing. That fight rounds out a five-bout card that spans Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA.
