Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAfter his Philadelphia 76ers completed a historic 29-point comeback to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James said considered being on the other side. James said postgame that he gave consideration to returning to the Cavaliers for a third time before choosing to sign with the Sixers this past offseason.
"The nature of the meeting, I probably won't discuss much," James said. "But it was in consideration for sure. I mean, obviously, as a team trying to build towards a championship and things of that nature, I was trying to decide where I wanted to go with the rest of my career, to finish my career, or the next step. So, they had a lot of consideration for sure."
James played the first seven seasons of his NBA career in Cleveland. Then, after three years with the Miami Heat, James returned to the Cavs for four more seasons. That second stint included leading Cleveland to the NBA title in 2016.
