The Philadelphia 76ers expect LeBron James to play a lot of his minutes at point guard on offense this season.

James would allow Tyrese Maxey to operate off the ball at times as he plays the facilitator role.

During his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers, James played more of an off-ball role with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves taking the majority of the playmaking duties. But James again played a central role in the Lakers' first round series win over the Houston Rockets with Doncic out and Reaves missing the opening games.
