Logan Paul, Conor McGregor

Logan Paul recently opined that Conor McGregor is “cooked” and should not enter the octagon ever again.

Earlier this month at UFC 329, McGregor returned to the octagon after five long years to run it back with former foe Max Holloway, whom the Irishman had beaten 13 years ago by unanimous decision, despite tearing his ACL during the bout.

However, this time, McGregor tore his ACL and meniscus as soon as the bout began while throwing a wild flying kick and was unable to move or strike. He kept falling to the ground as his lead leg was busted up; thus, the referee stopped the fight after 69 seconds, and Holloway won by TKO.

Logan Paul’s recent comments suggest he now views McGregor as a con artist and not as a real fighter. Paul believes the Irishman belongs in the WWE rather than the UFC.

On his IMPAULSIVE podcast, “The Maverick” revealed that after watching UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2, he immediately texted WWE CCO Triple H to ask whether the WWE brass would allow him to face McGregor in the future. Paul also claimed that McGregor “fooled everyone” to sell his comeback bout and never truly prepared to compete, as he is “incapable of fighting” after the long hiatus. The 31-year-old quipped:

“I’ll be honest with you, I texted my boss after Conor lost. I was like, bro, Conor’s cooked. Like, do something, do something with him. Make a bag, let me fight him. Big WWE star vs. big WWE star, because that’s what he is now. He said he thinks he’s done.”

He added:

“Bro, at the moment, Conor is doing WWE because he’s incapable of fighting. He has a lot of people fooled. And he fooled everyone before this fight. Just like Mike Tyson fooled everyone before he fought my brother, [Jake Paul] … Like, age matters.”

Sean O’Malley believes Conor McGregor will be back

Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has one more fight left on his UFC contract and has promised fans that once his right knee heals, he will be back for one last dance. McGregor plans to enter the octagon by the summer of 2027 and has already said that the opponent “has to be” Holloway.

During the aforementioned sitdown with Logan Paul, former bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, who is a big fan of “The Notorious,” backed McGregor, added:

“He [McGregor] will be back.”
