Zaquin Moses remained unbeaten with a six-round unanimous decision victory over Travis Crawford in their super featherweight bout. The 21-year-old southpaw controlled the action with his speed, accuracy, and movement, hurting Crawford (7-7, 2 KOs) in the second round and consistently landing the cleaner punches. The scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 60-54.
Crawford showed toughness and continued pressing forward, but Moses (7-0, 3 KOs) dictated most of the exchanges and was never seriously threatened. Although he eased off the pace somewhat in the later rounds, Moses cruised to a wide decision and afterward called for an eight-round fight in his next outing.
Julian Montalvo (7-0, 5 KOs) continued his unbeaten start as a professional with a fourth-round stoppage of Maximus Moya in their scheduled six-round super featherweight bout. The 18-year-old Las Vegas prospect controlled the fight from the opening bell, using steady pressure, sharp combinations, and effective body work to wear Moya (3-4, 2 KOs) down. Moya showed determination but was unable to slow Montalvo’s attack as the favorite gradually took over the contest.
Frank Espinoza remained unbeaten with a 4th-round stoppage victory over Bryce Blackwell in their scheduled six-round middleweight bout. The 20-year-old prospect Espinoza (4-0, 4 KOs) controlled the fight from the outset, applying steady pressure and landing the heavier punches while forcing Blackwell (4-3, 1 KOs) onto the defensive.
Blackwell showed toughness but struggled to cope with Espinoza’s pace and power as the rounds progressed. After taking significant punishment through three rounds, Blackwell’s corner elected to stop the fight before the start of the fourth, giving Espinoza his fourth win and fourth knockout.
Jahyden Franklin Britton stayed unbeaten with a fourth-round stoppage of Najee West in their scheduled six-round super middleweight bout. Britton gradually took control with the heavier punches and consistent pressure, forcing West to work hard throughout the fight. West showed toughness and had moments of success, but Britton’s power eventually proved too much. A sustained flurry in the fourth round left West hurt and prompted the referee to stop the contest.
