Spearheaded by entrepreneur and bike trader Dan Whitehead, and the man behind the meticulous builds of three of the trickiest CR 250s on track. These Hondas are as special as you will find, and Dan’s not scared to throw his hat into the ring to go racing. The team finished third in 2025, and the squad is back together and looking for further success in 2026.
On the number four machine will be 30-year-old Harry Bradley from Tamworth. Bradley, a very well-known face in the British MX scene, has had his share of success, being crowned 2016 Acerbis MX1 champ and 2022 Bridgestone MX Nationals Amateur MX1 champ. He is out on the bike when he can, in between his dad duties and director duties at SM Pro Wheels.
Matt Bayliss will be on board the number five machine. The 32-year-old from Crowthorne in Berkshire is a regular face in the Arenacross scene and is a champion in both MX2 and 125 Bridgestone, as well as in MX Nationals. He is looking forward to some aggressive action in the Shropshire sand.
The number six plate will be Josh Taylor. Taylor is currently competing in the British championship and is raring to get on the evo machine for the biggest celebration of two strokes in the world.
The riders have the familiar trio of mechanics, Dan Whitehead, Ben Owens, and Ben Cannings, who are all more than acquainted with these two-stroke machines and will have them dialled come race weekend and back up with support and parts from Tim Gower. The promoters are full steam ahead with planning, including two newly acquired extra camping fields adjacent to the track. This is heading to be epic. Don’t forget there is still a handful of the new VIP slots available (situated on the terraces between the famous hill and the start which means this is full on sit in your awning and watch the races.
Take full advantage of the bank holiday weekend, as the four-day weekend starts when the gates open at 12 noon on Thursday, August 27th. With the annual Show’N’Shine display, autograph signing, trade village and beer tent with big-name DJ, there is plenty to keep you entertained before the racing action on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.
VMXdN is the event that legends past and present from around the Globe will take to the line to go bar-to-bar, just like the golden era of ’90s motocross.
