Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Bradley Barcola from PSG before the summer transfer window closes.

According to reports from L’Equipe, the 23-year-old attacker and his representatives are confident they will get the deal done soon. PSG and Liverpool have been locked in talks over a move for the French international for several weeks, and it seems that the gap in valuation between the two clubs has narrowed.

Bradley Barcola deal edges closer

The player has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League club and the deal is expected to be completed soon. PSG have already turned down an offer of around €115 million from Liverpool, and the Premier League side is expected to come forward with an improved offer to get the deal done

Liverpool need more quality on the flanks, and the 23-year-old should prove to be an exceptional long-term acquisition. Barcola will also look to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football. He has struggled for regular opportunities at PSG, and he will look to play more often now.

He is highly rated across Europe, and he has also been linked with Arsenal. The 23-year-old contributed towards 20 goals last season, despite not starting regularly for the French outfit. His numbers will only improve when he’s playing regularly.

His playing style should be a good fit for the Premier League, and it remains to be seen whether he can make an immediate impact.

Liverpool have been linked with multiple attacking players over the last few weeks, and it remains to be seen whether they can sign another attacker along with Barcola before the window closes.

They need more depth on the flanks, and signing another wide player would be ideal. Yankuba Minteh and Ibrahim Mbaye have been linked with the Reds in recent weeks.
