Robbie is the Assistant Editor at Football FanCast.
Having graduated from the University of Exeter in 2020, Robbie spent time working as an intern or in freelance positions across a variety of sites, including at 90min, producing news and feature content related to clubs in the Premier League, EFL, SPFL and in Europe.
Robbie subsequently spent over a year working as a news, features and opinion writer at Football Faithful, primarily focused on the Premier League and Manchester United, in particular.
After beginning life at Football FanCast as part of the company's academy set-up in 2022, Robbie has risen through the ranks to now taking on the role of Assistant Editor since October 2023, having also been part of the Exclusives team in the past.
Across the last few years, Robbie has covered Manchester United, Celtic and Rangers on a regular basis, alongside a raft of other clubs, boasting an in-depth knowledge of the Premier League, EFL and Scottish football in general.
Robbie is a Manchester United fan, but also has a particular fondness for both Celtic and Wycombe Wanderers, taking in a multitude of home and away games for the Chairboys over the last two decades.
A turbulent season is finally over for Glasgow Rangers, and so the post-mortem can begin at Ibrox, with another seismic summer in store for the Old Firm side.
Danny Rohl's position looks to be secure by all accounts, despite his side's recent collapse, yet there's set to be plenty of change otherwise, with James Tavernier leading the way when it comes to departures.
The long-serving skipper was part of a back-line that shipped 43 goals in the Premiership in the end, more than any other member of the top four, the Gers having remarkably shipped at least two goals in each of their last seven league games.

That is not a record that can be maintained if the Light Blues are to compete for the title again in 2026/27, with the backline in need of major reinforcement.
Rangers in constant talks to sign in-demand £4m defender
Tavernier is heading for the exit door, as too will be Max Aarons, Jayden Meghoma, Derek Cornelius and Nasser Djiga, the latter having not exactly boosted his hopes of a permanent stay following a shaky final few weeks of the campaign.
Considering the Gers are already light in defence as it is, multiple new signings will be needed in that department, particularly if interest also ramps up in £30m-rated star, Emmanuel Fernandez.
Reports earlier this week suggested that, with Fernandez's exit in mind, Rangers were readying a bid for fellow Nigerian, Akpe Victory, with SportsBoom subsequently providing the latest on that interest.
As per the report, the Glasgow outfit are 'very close to submitting an offer for the 19-year-old, while the likes of Benfica, Viktoria Plzen and Basel are also in the mix for his signature.
Valued at around €5m (£4m), the suggestion is that Victory's current side, Zalaegerszegi, would be open to cashing in, provided that their valuation is met.
The report also notes that suitors, with Rangers among them, 'keep calling in to make inquiries', suggesting that frequent talks are being held.
Why Victory could be another Bassey in the making at Ibrox
Recruitment has been far from perfect in recent times at Ibrox, but there have been key success stories, be it the signings of Hamza Igamane, the aforementioned Fernandez or Calvin Bassey prior to that.
In Bassey's case, Rangers forked out a fee of just £230k to sign the then-youngster from Leicester City's youth ranks in 2020, with the left-footer having never made a senior appearance at that stage.
Two years later, he was sold on to Ajax on a club-record £19.6m deal, following a Man of the Match display in the Europa League final defeat in Seville, swiftly securing a sizeable profit for the Premiership side.
It would be a similar gamble if Rohl and co were to invest in Victory, considering he is still only 19, although all the signs point to him enjoying a rapid rise of his own over the coming years.
He only made the move to Zalaegerszegi back in January, yet is already being touted as "one of the best young centre-backs playing outside Europe's top 10 leagues right now", as per Hungarian journalist, Bence Bocsak.
In Bocsak's view, any club who manages to get a deal over the line for the teenager will be getting an "absolute gem", with Victory having evidently made a strong impression in just under six months with his current side.
A potential future teammate of both Fernandez and Bassey at international level for Nigeria, the £4m man is still in the infancy of his senior career, making only 48 club appearances to date, across his time in Hungary and in Lithuania.
Such a lack of experience was no issue with regard to Bassey, however, with the now 26-year-old proving invaluable due to his ability to feature both as a full-back and centre-back at Ibrox.
In Victory's case, he is a centre-back by trade, but can provide versatility of his own, having regularly pushed into a defensive midfield role in recent seasons.
A tall, athletic defender, the in-demand talent is no easy figure to get around, as seen in the fact that he's been dribbled past just 0.3 times per game this season in Hungary, wining 62% of his total duels and 65% of his aerial duels.
In Bocsak's opinion, he "won't be in Hungary very long", with Glasgow potentially the perfect destination should he wish to follow in Bassey's footsteps.
