Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Inter Milan have revived their pursuit of Djed Spence, with the Serie A giants now believing a deal for the Tottenham full-back could be completed for less than the price demanded immediately after the World Cup.

Spence’s stock rose considerably following his performances for England this summer, but his future in north London remains uncertain.

Tottenham have strong competition at full-back, and the 26-year-old is reportedly open to leaving if a club can offer him a more important role.

Inter have been interested for several weeks and could now turn that admiration into a formal offer.

Inter Milan are ready to make bid for Spence

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter are prepared to submit an official offer if Tottenham soften the conditions they set following the World Cup.

🚨⚫️🔵 Inter are prepared to send official bid for Djed Spence if exit conditions change compared to €45m request post World Cup.

Inter believe price can be under €40m now and talks will follow — back on track as exclusively revealed.

Spurs initially wanted around €45 million for Spence, but Inter now believe the defender could be available for below €40m.

Direct negotiations are expected to continue, while Romano adds that Spence himself is keen on making the move to San Siro.

The player’s willingness to leave could become important in the final stages of discussions.

talkSPORT has also reported that Spence is open to a Tottenham exit and has attracted attention from both Inter and AC Milan. The report places his current valuation at around £35m.

Move could suit Tottenham and the player

This looks like a transfer that could work for all parties if the valuation gap continues to shrink.

Spence is capable of playing on either side of defence and possesses the pace and athleticism required to operate as an attacking wing-back.

Those qualities would translate naturally to Serie A and could give Inter another dynamic option out wide.

For Tottenham, meanwhile, selling for around £35m would represent strong business. They signed Spence from Middlesbrough in 2022 for considerably less and could now cash in while his reputation is at its highest following an impressive World Cup.

The difficult decision is whether Spurs would regret losing such a versatile homegrown player. At 26, Spence is entering what should be the strongest years of his career.

However, if he is not guaranteed regular starts, accepting a significant fee and reinvesting elsewhere could be sensible.

Inter’s position has also clearly changed. They were reluctant to meet Tottenham’s €45m demand, but a price below €40m appears much more attractive.
