UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland revealed last night that he had been involved in a vehicle crash.

While Sean Strickland may be a two-time UFC middleweight champ, there’s also a lot more to him than that. He’s one of the most controversial fighters in recent years in the promotion, and perhaps even that may be an understatement given some of the comments he’s made since beginning his rise to the top.

Sean Strickland is known for being a bit ‘out there’, and that includes his work away from mixed martial arts. From daring stunts to getting into intense situations, Sean is the kind of guy who likes to live life to the full.

In a recent series of posts on Instagram, however, Sean Strickland revealed that he may have almost taken things too far.

Sean Strickland reveals high-speed crash injury

“Guys I’m in a real bad place, oh f***. I let my buddy drive, he rolled us going like 60. We rolled like six times. That’s [head injury] from my head smacking the ground, going 60. I didn’t have a helmet on, I’m an idiot. Oh f***, dude. That was [shoulder injury] just from rolling and smacking the concrete or the dirt. Damn, I’m in a real bad place right now [laughs]. I think I’m just gonna lie here and take a nap for a little bit.”

Sean went on to provide an update on his condition.

“Hi guys, quick update, I think I’m okay. Chris went unconscious a little bit, so, he’s in the hospital, but I think he’s gonna be alright, he just went asleep for a little bit. But uh, yeah, man. Honestly, the most f***ing fun I’ve had in a very long time.”
