Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe SEC voted 16-0 to prohibit any player who declared for the NBA and did not appropriately withdraw from playing in the league on Wednesday.
SEC schools are also now prohibited from rostering players who signed an NBA or G League deal or have been listed on a roster.
Commissioner Greg Sankey was granted full authority to enforce the rule "with penalties." The penalties will be announced in the future.
The vote comes a day after RJ Luis Jr. was granted an injunction to play for LSU.
Luis previously signed a Two-Way deal with the Jazz and an Exhibit 10 deal with the Celtics' G League affiliate.
It is unclear whether LSU coach Will Wade will continue to pursue Luis.
