Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Shakur Stevenson has revealed his two-man hit list, believing wins over both fighters would solidify him as the sport’s pound-for-pound No.1 operator.

The 29-year-old is already in the pound-for-pound discussion, of course, but most would place Naoya Inoue and Oleksandr Usyk ahead of him.

This simply boils down to the superior achievements of Inoue and Usyk, who have both become two-division undisputed champions across their respective weight classes.

As a four-division world champion, though, Stevenson is certainly capable of securing further accolades and significant victories, building on his unanimous decision triumph over Teofimo Lopez in January.

It was officially announced on Friday that the American has inked a promotional agreement with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, who have tied him down to a multi-fight deal.

And while it remains to be seen what this means for his future, the slick southpaw has already told ESPN’s SportsCentre that Devin Haney and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis are the two men he needs to beat to ‘show he’s the one’.

“My main focus right now is Devin Haney or Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Them the guys who I think would show that I’m the one.”

Stevenson and Haney have verbally agreed to collide at a catchweight of 144lbs, yet it seems that the latter is more likely to face mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis.

‘The Dream’ has, after all, been ordered to defend his WBO world welterweight title against Davis, with Bob Arum’s Top Rank having initiated negotiations between both sides.

‘Tank’, meanwhile, has not fought since his controversial draw with Lamont Roach, in March 2025, but is reportedly set to return early next year.
