Philadelphia Sixers ownership approved of Daryl Morey trading Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 2026 first-round pick and three second-round picks, according to Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.

Morey received criticism following the trade with McCain averaging 10.4 points per game with the Thunder.

Morey said at the time that the Sixers "sold high" on McCain.

With Sixers ownership parting ways with Morey on Tuesday, team execs feel confident in their ability to select a quality player with the No. 22 pick in the upcoming draft.
