The Los Angeles Sparks traded Kelsey Plum to the Phoenix Mercury, sources told Shams Charania and Kendra Andrews of ESPN.

The Sparks will receive Monique Akoa Makani, a 2027 first round pick and a 2028 second-rounder in return.

The 31-year-old Plum is averaging 23.9 points and 6.4 assists on the year.

The Mercury are currently 11-19 on the season and six games back of the final playoff spot.
