Stephen Curry believes injuries have dramatically changed the Golden State Warriors’ outlook as the franchise prepares for the 2026-27 season.

Jimmy Butler is expected to miss at least half the season while recovering from a torn ACL, while Moses Moody is sidelined indefinitely with a torn patellar tendon.

Those setbacks have left Golden State facing another challenging campaign.

Curry admitted the team’s plans shifted significantly once both players went down.

“The through line,” Curry said, “which is hard on anybody in this situation, especially with us keeping this thing together, is knowing that when Jimmy got hurt and Moses got hurt, the whole calculus of everything changes.

“How do you get through their absence and still stay at a certain level? And then how that goes into this year. It’s the same deal. So I’m a realist on that.”

The Warriors are coming off a disappointing 37-45 season and now face the difficult task of remaining competitive in a loaded Western Conference.
