Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayTop Rank announced Wednesday that the former world title challenger has signed a multi-year promotional agreement with the company. Martin, 31, is expected to return this fall after beginning his campaign in the light welterweight division under trainer Buddy McGirt.
Top Rank president Todd duBoef believes Martin has plenty of opportunities waiting at 140 pounds.
“We have established Frank Martin as an elite talent, and the biggest opportunities of his career are still ahead of him. The super lightweight division is filled with compelling matchups, and with Frank’s talent, he is positioned perfectly to capitalize. His future is bright as we work toward securing his ultimate world championship goal,” said duBoef.
Martin welcomed the move, saying he believes the promotional company can help him reach another level.
“I’m excited to continue my journey under the Top Rank banner. The company has a history of building stars. I want to continue building out my resume, become champion, and stamp my legacy as one of them ones in the sport,” said ‘The Ghost’ Martin.
Martin’s manager, Adrian Clark, welcomed the agreement.
“I am honored to be in a position to facilitate this deal. Frank is now backed by the iconic Top Rank, which has another superstar in the making. I’m very excited for what’s to come.”
Martin turned professional in 2017 before breaking through with victories over Romero Duno plus Michel Rivera in 2022. He followed with a unanimous decision over Artem Harutyunyan the following year.
After falling short against Gervonta Davis in a lightweight title fight in June 2024, Martin moved to 140 pounds. He stopped former world champion Rances Barthelemy in four rounds last December before fighting Nahir Albright to a draw in February.
Top Rank said Martin is targeting a return this fall as he begins pursuing another world title opportunity in the light welterweight division.
