Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayVictor Wembanyama is already the NBA's best defensive player and continues to get better on offense with his ability to finish around the basket plus create for himself off the dribble and make three-pointers at a solid percentage. But as Wembanyama has struggled to consistently create reliable offense in the halfcourt, some have suggested he develop a sky hook similar to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Wembanyama's height and length would make defending the sky hook virtually impossible as it was for the NBA's second leading career scorer.
ESPN's Michael C. Wright, who covers Wembanyama and the Spurs, reported that Wembanyama has already been working on it, showcasing it during his workouts with Hakeem Olajuwon.
"He's got it in his bag," wrote Wright in response to Stan Verrett's suggestion of working out with Abdul-Jabbar. "Just isn't comfortable enough just yet to use it in games. Hakeem Olajuwon told me the kid's got a jump hook that he's been working on."
