Delphine Benouaich announced herself to the UFC in brutal fashion, battering Sofia Montenegro through a bloody second round before forcing the finish with a rear-naked choke at UFC Paris.
Fresh off her run on The Ultimate Fighter 34, the season semifinalist made her promotional debut against Montenegro in Saturday’s strawweight opener at Accor Arena. Benouaich immediately embraced the pace, trading heavy combinations with Montenegro and repeatedly pressing forward despite appearing to be the smaller fighter.

Montenegro landed clean shots of her own, while Benouaich answered with knees to the body and relentless forward movement. Even after blood began streaming from her nose, Benouaich continued marching into danger.
