Daniel is an experienced football writer and editor, having worked in the football media industry for over a decade.
After voluntarily writing for Fresh Press for two years, helping to build and establish the Read brand, Daniel started a part-time job with Fresh Press that later turned into a full-time writing and editing role, writing for club-specific pages such as Read Norwich, Read Celtic, Read Liverpool, and Read Arsenal.
Daniel spent just shy of a year writing and editing for Liverpool-based website, Anfield Watch, which included conducting and/or transcribing interviews with Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg, former Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa, and journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Since the summer of 2021, Daniel has worked for Snack Media (now Valnet) and has been a contributor to Football FanCast, on a freelance and full-time basis, as a writer and editor.
Daniel is a Norwich City fan and season ticket holder. He has been heard on BBC Norfolk and helped DAZN with research for their commentary due to his knowledge of the club, along with being featured in several local papers across the country, including the Coventry Telegraph and the Liverpool Echo, for Norwich-related content.
Daniel's knowledge extends to Scottish football, having covered Celtic and Rangers for several years. He particularly enjoys producing player analysis and producing transfer content.
Glasgow Rangers had their title hopes officially dashed when they were beaten 3-1 by their rivals in their 36th game of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
The Gers still had a tiny chance going into the final three games of the season after Hearts were held to a 1-1 draw by Motherwell, but their loss to Celtic officially ruled them out of the race.
Danny Rohl's side will now have to watch on as one of the two teams ahead of them win the title, after losing to them both in the last two matches.
Mikey Moore scored his second goal for Rangers at Parkhead this season to put the Gers in front and was one of the few players who can walk away from the game with his head held high.
On the opposite flank, though, Oliver Antman failed to show that he deserves more minutes moving forward in a Gers shirt after an underwhelming performance.
Why Danny Rohl got it all wrong with Oliver Antman
Before kick-off, Rohl revealed that the Finland international was selected to start on the right flank because "he is very disciplined in a tactical part" of the game, suggesting that it was a defensive selection.
In that respect, Antman did his job. He won three of his four ground duels and his only aerial duel of the game, without committing any fouls, and offered James Tavernier support defensively.Rohl got that tactical decision all wrong, though, because the former Go Ahead Eagles star offered virtually nothing to the team at the other end of the pitch, despite starting on the right wing.

Antman played 59 minutes without registering a single shot or key pass in the final third for the Light Blues, which illustrates his complete lack of impact on the game in possession.
Rohl got it wrong with him, therefore, because the winger's inclusion in the team played a part in the side's failure to score a second goal, which allowed Celtic to get back into the match and eventually win all three points.
Antman was not the only player who struggled on the pitch for the Scottish giants, however, as another Rangers flop was even worse than him.
Worse than Oliver Antman: Rangers man must not start again
James Tavernier will be leaving when his contract expires this summer and the defeat to Celtic should be his last ever start in a Gers shirt after his performance on Sunday.
The Light Blues skipper should be benched for the final two games of the season and brought on for a well-deserved celebration of his time at the club in the final match.
He should not start either game, though, because Dujon Sterling will be at Rangers next season and should be given the chance to show that he can be the main man in that role moving forward.

Tavernier was even worse than Antman in the defeat to the Hoops because he completed a much lower percentage of his passes, gave the ball away with every other touch, and won fewer duels than the winger ahead of him in the team.
The long-serving Rangers skipper was also caught out by a relatively simple pass over the top of the defence when Kieran Tierney raced through to cross for Daizen Maeda's first and Celtic's second goal.
Tavernier's wastefulness on the ball has been an issue throughout the campaign. He has lost possession 626 times and only assisted four goals in 25 starts in the Premiership this season, averaging an assist every 157 giveaways of the ball.
Now that the title race is over and the full-back's career at Ibrox is almost over, Rohl should leave him out of the starting line-up for the final two matches, making the loss to Celtic his last ever start.
Tavernier will be disappointed to end his Gers career without a trophy this season, but it does show that he has picked the right moment to call time on his long career in Glasgow.
