ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The MLB draft is set to take place this weekend, meaning that by Sunday night, front offices around the sport will be able to turn their full attention to the much bigger event: the Aug. 3 trade deadline.

For the Yankees, their list of needs seems a bit bigger and more pressing than it might have been a month ago, before they sustained more injuries and spiraled into losing nine of their last 10 games and 12 of their last 15 entering Monday’s crucial showdown against the Rays at Tropicana Field.

They still do not know when Aaron Judge will come back from the injured list, other than saying that they expect him to play again this season. Giancarlo Stanton does not seem much closer in his own extended stay on the IL, still not running after suffering a setback with his calf last month. Caros Rodón has joined Max Fried and Clarke Schmidt on the IL while top prospect Carlos Lagrange, who was expected to help the bullpen in a call-up from Triple-A, now seems doubtful to pitch again this season.

With all of that in mind, here’s a look at where the Yankees stand with regards to the trade deadline, now less than a month away:
