Through the season-opening matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, Luka Doncic and Yaxel Lendeborg were spotted talking trash to each other. It started when Lendeborg was guarding Doncic and was called for a foul.

The Warriors rookie forward said postgame that the entire sequence caused him to lose respect for the Lakers superstar.

"I had a lot of respect for him [because] I didn't really watch the NBA much," Lendeborg said. "I just watched highlights and seen him kill people. But being in it firsthand and seeing all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect."

Lendeborg later went on to say he didn't like Doncic celebrating after drawing a foul call on a pump fake that the rookie forward bit on.

"You get the foul call. Congratulations, bro," Lendeborg said. "Then you talk to me like you did something great. C'mon, dog. That s--- is weak. It kind of threw me off because I have so much respect for him. Gone, man. Gone."
