Earlier tonight at Noche UFC, after the Curtis Blaydes vs. Waldo Cortes Acosta snoozefest, fans were craving a back-and-forth battle, and Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso delivered on those expectations.

Grasso looked in a flow state earlier tonight at Noche UFC and made the Mexican crowd proud. She started landing vicious combinations, walking down Fiorot just a few minutes after the opening bell. She dropped Fiorot in the final seconds of the first round with a right hook and then punished “The Beast” with punches on the mat until the final bell of the first stanza.

Round 2 was a better one for Fiorot. The French fighter recognised the danger and began attacking Grasso with leg kicks while managing the distance to avoid getting caught in the pocket. However, in the final seconds, Grasso once again walked Fiorot down, pushed her towards the fence, and battered her.

In the final round, Fiorot needed a finish but could not find one. Grasso controlled the centre of the octagon, outworked “The Beast”, and landed the more significant strikes to stay ahead on the judges’ scorecard.

Official decison: Alexa Grasso defeated Manon Fiorot via unanimous decision (29-28 x 3) at Noche UFC.

This women’s flyweight bout between Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso at Noche UFC was officially a title eliminator, and Grasso will now face the soon-to-be crowned UFC women’s flyweight champion at UFC 332.
