Hearts kept them on their toes all the way to the final moments of the season last time around, so it's no surprise to see plenty of movement in both directions at Parkhead.

New Celtic Signings 2026/27

Total summer spend: £32.7m

Camilo Duran arrived from Azerbaijani side Qarabag for around £5m, with O'Neill bringing in the Colombian forward as his first signing of the summer. The forward was joined by Kasper Hogh following his stunning season for Bodo/Glimt, where he scored 15 times and provided 11 assists in 30 games in all competitions.

Mika Baur arrived to reinforce the midfield with technical ability and versatility, while Haissem Hassan, one of the stars of Egypt's World Cup run, will get fans off their seats from the wing.

The Hoops late flurry saw six players - Joël van den Berg, Jordan Lotomba, Oliver Sørensen, Shumaira Mheuka, Sam Johnstone and Landon Emenalo all join in the final 48 hours of the summer window.

Celtic Departures 2026/27

Total summer sales: £38.9m

Daizen Maeda sealed a move to Ipswich Town, leaving Parkhead after establishing himself as one of the Hoops' most reliable performers in recent seasons. Luis Palma joined Polish side Lech Poznan for just over £3m, while Maik Nawrocki departs for Ligue 1 outfit Lens after struggling for consistent game time in Glasgow.

Kelechi Iheanacho and Stephen Welsh have both left on free transfers, joining Bursaspor and Swansea City respectively. Shin Yamada heads out on loan to Belgian side OH Leuven, while Kasper Schmeichel has called time on his playing career following his shoulder injury.

The most notable exit remains that of Arne Engels, however, the Belgian joining EFL Championship side West Ham United on a bumper £22m deal.

Paulo Bernardo, Michel-Ange Balikwisha, and Adam Montgomery all left on loan in the final days of the summer window.

Who is Celtic's Record Signing?

Celtic's record signing is Kasper Hogh, who joined from Danish side Bodo Glimt in the summer of 2026 for a fee of £11m.

This eclipses the £11m spent on Arne Engles two years prior due to Hogh's deal including undisclosed add-ons.

The 25 year-old was one of the stars of Bodo's shock run to the knockout stages of the 2025/26 Champions League, scoring in wins over Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Inter.

Who is Celtic's Record Sale?

Celtic's record sale is Matt O'Riley, sold to Brighton in 2024 for £25m - a huge profit on the tiny fee the Hoops paid MK Dons for the midfielder.

O'Riley starred at Parkhead and won his first Denmark caps as a result of his form, with Brighton making him the club's record sale.

Two other players are also believed to have cost in the region of £25m: Jota's move to Al-Ittihad and Kieran Tierney's switch to Arsenal.
