Who and what is this shoe for?

The shoe is aimed at trail runners want a lightweight, direct trail shoe for shorter distances and faster workouts. It’s ideal for those who enjoy a minimal, grounded ride and value grip and feel over maximal cushioning. But I think it’s a great shoe for those new to trail running.

How does it fit?

I found it true to size in my UK 6 with that little extra room that you expect in a trail shoe. The engineered mesh upper feels light and breathable, and the midfoot wrap and updated eyestays improve overall lockdown.

Is it comfortable?

I found it comfortable all the way through an 11 mile run. The FF Blast Plus midsole delivers a soft yet grounded cushioning that’s plush without feeling mushy. The low-profile stack offers a direct connection to the trail, which I found helped me feel more stable.

ASICS Fuji Lite 6 run test

I’ve been out on runs from 4 miles to 11 miles in this shoe, as well as some hill sessions, and I would definitely recommend it. It’s not a big, flashy shoe but it’s reliable and feels great to run in.

The 11 mile trail run took me across fields, through woodland and gravel paths as well as some short road sections and the ASICS Fuji Lite 6 coped with them all. It’s lower profile than other trail shoes I’ve tested recently means you’re closer to the ground and feel stable on uneven surfaces.
