Aston Villa have made an offer for Palmeiras star Allan, as they continue to search for new forwards following Morgan Rogers' exit.
The Brazilian was on the verge of signing for Liverpool earlier this year, as a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah, but the deal ultimately didn't go through, which means Villa can now swoop in.
Like Salah, the Brazilian is most commonly deployed on the right-wing, where he has posed a major threat for Palmeiras since making his first-team breakthrough, picking up nine goals and ten assists in 88 matches.

The Villans are also set to bid for Sporting CP star Catamo, who is keen on a move to the Premier League this summer. The 25-year-old could be a like-for-like Allan alternative, as he most commonly plays on the right flank, chipping in with six goals and four assists in the Liga Portugal during the 2025-26 campaign. |
The Palmeiras star, who has been described as a "turbo dribbler" by analyst Spencer Mossman, is also capable of playing on the left and through the middle, which means he could be capable of replacing Rogers, and the Villans are now ramping up their pursuit.
Aston Villa make offer for Allan
According to a report from Globo Esporte (via Sport Witness), Aston Villa have now submitted a £26m bid for Allan, which has been knocked back by Palmeiras, who are hoping to either retain their star player or hold out for a higher fee.
The 22-year-old loves to drive at opposition defences, as evidenced by the fact he is averaging 2.9 successful dribbles per 90 in the Brazilian Serie A this season, which is 0.6 more than any other member of the Palmeiras squad.
Villa were willing to offer the forward a five-year contract, with the option of an extra year, in order to lure him to Villa Park, but they may now be forced to move on to alternative targets in attack.
Emery is particularly keen for Villa to sign Jackson, with the Spaniard now pushing for a reunion with his former striker. However, a deal could be very expensive, as Chelsea are holding out for £60m.
