Mike Perry’s next bout will not be under the BKFC banner, but the promotion’s president David Feldman is confident that he will book “Platinum” against Darren Till.

Perry is scheduled to headline the Duel Arena 1 card in Orlando on Aug. 29. The former UFC veteran will collide with Dillon Danis in a pro MMA bout. This will be Danis’ first MMA fight since Misfits 22 when he quickly submitted Warren Spencer in 15 seconds.

As Perry’s clash with Danis looms, Feldman is expecting his fighter to emerge victorious. While Feldman won’t guarantee that Perry ever competes under bare-knuckle rules again, he told MMAFighting that he thinks “Platinum” will ultimately compete for BKFC again to fight Till in a grudge match.

“I can’t even give you that answer right now,” Feldman said. “We’ll see what happens with the Dillon Danis fight. We’ll see as we start talking and negotiate what we can do. I will say confidently, I do think I can make this match — Darren Till versus Mike Perry — early in [2027], I do think I can make that from conversations with both of them. But we’ll see how it plays out.

“If Dillon Danis and Mike Perry were standing up and fighting, I’d say Perry walks through him very easily. Danis can grapple. That’s his thing. But I just think Mike’s too tough for a guy like him. I think you’ll see Mike come out victorious on the other end, and we’ll get into negotiations.”

Perry’s last BKFC fight was back in Oct. 2025. He took on fellow ex-UFC star Jeremy Stephens in the BKFC 82 headliner. Perry scored a fifth-round TKO finish to successfully defend the King of Violence title.

The victory opened the door for a big MMA showdown with Nate Diaz on the MVP MMA 1 card. Perry made the most of the opportunity and forced a corner stoppage before the third round could begin. This was the same event that was headlined by returning women’s MMA icons Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.
