Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAlready establishing himself as a strong postseason performer, Jackson Chourio was the hero for the Milwaukee Brewers again on Sunday.
With his team trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Chourio smoked a 2-2 pitch right up the middle, sending two base runners home as Milwaukee beat the San Diego Padres 4-3.
Jackson Chourio's walk-off hit handed the Brewers a 2-0 lead in the NLDS
His walk-off two-run base hit gave the Brewers a commanding 2-0 lead in the National League Division Series. He also made more history thanks to his latest clutch performance.
At 22 years and 207 days old, Chourio became the second youngest player to ever record a walk-off hit in the playoffs, only behind two different instances from Edgar Renteria, then with the Marlins, during their run to the 1997 World Series title.
Chourio now has the second most playoff RBI for any player before turning 23. Only recently indicted Baseball Hall of Famer Andruw Jones drove in more runs in the playoffs before his 23rd birthday (17) than Chourio's 15.

— MLB (@MLB) October 4, 2026Jackson Chourio has been a clutch playoff performer his whole career
In three years in the big leagues and three appearances in the playoffs, Chourio now has five home runs with 15 RBI and seven runs scored while slashing an impressive .327/.357/.673.
He entered this postseason coming off his best regular season to date, hitting a career-high .291 with a single-season best 25 home runs and 75 RBI in 522 at-bats in 127 games played. His season WAR was 4.9, the highest he's finished a season with to date.
If the Brewers are going to win the National League pennant and advance to the franchise's first World Series since 1982, they will need Chourio to make more history and enhance his playoff resume even more throughout the rest of October.
