UFC veteran Dan Hooker is preparing for the biggest payday of his mixed martial arts career at UFC Paris this weekend.
Throughout the course of his tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dan Hooker has been in there against some of the very best that they have to offer at lightweight and featherweight. Now, at this point in his career, he is eager to prove that he still belongs in the ‘elite’ conversation.

Dan Hooker has never been shy when voicing his opinion about his opponents and that has also been the case for his next foe, Salahdine Parnasse, who he will go head to head with in the main event of UFC Paris on Saturday.
In a recent interview, Dan Hooker had the following to say about the financial incentive behind his next outing.

“That works for me,” he told RMC Sport when they suggested that he has now become the man who introduces new fighters to the big leagues. “If they pay me this much money to fight the new kids then I’ll be fighting the new kids until the day I die.
“I’d fight Francis Ngannou for the amount of money they’re paying, and they’re giving me an opponent who’s going to step on the scale the same weight as me? It’s the biggest payday of my career for sure.”

Dan Hooker is, indeed, willing to get in there with just about anyone, and it will be interesting to see how this particular matchup plays out on Saturday.
