Boxing’s biggest promotional feud between Dana White and Eddie Hearn hit a new level as Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight talks stall.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury encouraged Dana White to get involved in the ongoing Anthony Joshua fight talks to get the bout over the finish line. Just days after Fury publicly lauded White’s efforts, the negotiations are in serious jeopardy of falling apart.

Fury and Joshua fought in separate heavyweight bouts earlier this year to tune up for their expected clash in the ring. Turki Alalshikh, Zuffa Boxing’s Dana White, and Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn are several parties involved in getting the fight finalized.

Despite positive updates earlier this week surrounding Fury vs. Joshua, negotiations have reportedly hit a brick wall, and White blames Hearn.

In a recent media scrum with iFL TV and other outlets, White weighed in on the Fury vs. Joshua talks and where things stand with Hearn and Matchroom.

“I would never be in Eddie Hearn’s position because we’re not the same. We’re not the f—— same,” White said of Hearn.

“I know he wants to think he’s the promoter…I’ve never seen a guy who is supposed to be the promoter of an event hurt the fight more than this guy has. Pretty fascinating, actually. There is no fight [LAUGHS].”

White was then asked if he’s approaching a point where he feels he’s ready to walk away from the Fury vs. Joshua negotiations.

“Yes, we’re literally f—– right there. It’s f—— silly now,” White answered.

“If it happens in the UK, there’s a lot less money involved. My job is to come in, figure out how to make both of those guys money, and make the other people involved money. If Eddie doesn’t like the way this is going down, then rip up the contract and do the fight yourself…whether this fight happens or not, my life goes on, and I’m going to do just fine.”
